JOB TITLE: District Manager

**This position will cover locations in Harrisonburg and Winchester.

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: The District Manager is responsible for the general oversight and management of the car wash locations assigned to their territory.

The District Manager will recruit, train and develop the General Managers as well as drive volume, sales and profitability at their respective locations.

Reports to: Market Leader

SUPERVISES: General Managers

FLSA STATUS: Exempt

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The ability to lift 25/50/80 pounds regularly, respond quickly to sounds, move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces, see clearly and respond to dangerous situations, safely climb ladders while carrying 40 pounds or more, work in extreme weather and wear PPE correctly throughout the day.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1.Fosters a culture of safety, quality and superior service through the thoughtful recruitment, training and development of General Managers. Hosts daily calls with GMs to review site numbers, needs, and expectations. Documents and reports call statuses to Market Leader on a weekly basis.

2.Conducts weekly site visits (minimum of 4 hours at each site) to ensure locations are meeting and exceeding safety, cleanliness and quality standards as well as hitting volume and sales targets.

3.Partners with Human Resources on driving teammate engagement, handling teammate relations issues and recruiting for leadership positions within District.

4.Ensures that all wash locations within District are compliant with all local, state and federal regulations.

5.Works with Market Leader on budgeting and forecasting for sites.

6.Monitors volume, sales and labor at the District level and works with General Managers to ensure targets are exceeded consistently. Provides reporting as needed to Market Leader.

7.Works with General Managers on a strategic approach for improving brand awareness within the District.

8.Oversees recruitment efforts for all positions within District to ensure proper staffing levels as well as recruiting the GO standard of talent.

9.Opens and closes sites on a weekly basis.

10.Partners with Market Facilities to ensure sites are running safely and efficiently and down time is kept to a minimum.

11.Conducts 1 site audit per month. Provides scorecards and documented opportunities for improvement with action plans to Market leader following each audit.

12.Provides weekly schedule to Market Leader. Notifies Market Leader of any scheduling changes/needs.

13.Provides routine updates to Market Leader on membership cancellation action plans and status.

14.Upholds GO standards of quality and service at all times.

15.Performs other duties as assigned.

Job holder must demonstrate current competencies applicable to the job position. Every employee is required to remain updated on company policies and affairs through appropriate sources, such as the internal employee website.

EDUCATION:HS Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree in business management or related field a plus.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum (2) years of management experience required. Multi-site management experience a plus. Moderate proficiency in MS Excel required. Experience in Car Wash industry a plus. Large corporate restaurant chain experience a plus.

REQUIREMENTS:

•Valid driver’s license.

•Daily driving, up to 100 miles per day within market.

•Ability to pass a drug test and background check.

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

•Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
